Our Ghost Picture of the Month for June 2007!
Janie Miller took this incredible ghost picture of what seems to be British soldiers appearing on the grounds of the haunted Myrtles Plantation. It is reported that approximately 700 British troops were killed in the area during the Battle of New Orleans, January 1815. This may be one of the best ghost photos ever taken there. We provided a negative image of the photo, as well:
"This photo was take after the ghost tour as they let you roam around the back yard area. You have my word that there were no figures in the shot when the photo was taken. Appears to be several British Red Coats, carrying a rectangular object, possibly a coffin. The British don't have history with the house, but they do have history with the land." - Blair Quintana
