| Sonoma Cross Ghost Picture Back to Ghost Pictures Christopher Simmons of Sonoma County, California took the following picture of a cross with a face on it, or as he dubbed it, "The Man of the Cross." The image is cool, so we just had to show you... "My wife and I are into anything paranormal. We watch "Most Haunted" every Friday and check every month for the new pictures online. We even went as far as to look up scary places online. Recently, we moved up to Sonoma County, California. One of the places on the list we found was Mountain View Cemetery in Sonoma, California. When we first went there, we walked the trail around the cemetery, but finally got enough confidence to actually walk into the cemetery. Since then, we go there once or twice a month and have been doing this for about six months now. It's actually a very peaceful place and a great place for a workout as it's on the side of a hill. At first, we took pictures to see if we could catch anything on the camera. We used a 35mm and a camera phone, nothing. So we stopped taking pictures, but continued going because of the different things we have seen. Everything from the only Revolutionary Veteran buried in California to General Vallejo, the last Governor of Mexican California. I recently started taking pictures again up there as I am trying to find different mediums to paint. So on June 24 around 1:16 pm, my wife, kids and I were walking through the cemetery and had reached the top of the cemetery. My daughter kept pointing towards this cross across from where we were at. So I gave her to her mother and took a picture with a new digital camera that I had recently bought about a month ago. That night, when I uploaded the pictures to my computer, I got the surprise of my life, someone was staring right back at me from the cross. It's very detailed, eyes, nose with nostrils and a frowning mouth. I sent the picture to family and had friends take a look. I didn't tell them about the face and the same response each time "Is that a face". It appears to be an old man, but what is even weirder, that my wife pin point out, there's a face above that of a woman. I'm actually going back to take more pictures. I've never caught anything like this." |
