Friendly Ghosts                                                       Back to Ghosts Casper the friendly ghost is not the only helpful ghost people have heard of. Sometimes, real ghosts may help people, too.  It has been reported that ghosts have warned of impending peril, and thus saved people from harm.   This is not unlike angels, who have also been reported of helping people.  In both cases, a message of hope or help is brought to a person from the other side.  This is why Angels & Ghosts draws a connection between ghosts and angels. The Night Man is an example of a ghost from the Isle of Man (UK), who is friendly and helps people.  He may give warnings of approaching storms while appearing in a misty form.
