Vortex ghost pictures like the one above, are a great find indeed. Many believe a vortex to be a portal between the physical plane and the spiritual plane - sort of like a doorway between both worlds.
But most vortexes or "vortices" that are captured are actually camera straps, fingers, or the photographer's hair in front of the lens. This is why it is so important to tie long hair back, remove the strap from the camera, and be aware of where your fingers are before taking snaps of ghostly activity.
