Put the transmitter in the area you wish to monitor for ghost voices, and plug it into an AC power outlet. Take the receiver elsewhere to listen for ghost activity in the haunted location (either plug it into an AC power outlet or use batteries).
Our audio monitor also works great to record EVP (electronic voice phenomena, ghost talk). Simply place your audio recorder in front of the speaker on the receiver, set it and forget it. Many ghost investigators listen to the audio recordings later after ghost investigating.
