Note: Years ago, Khrysti shared this amazing angel story on the Angels & Ghosts Forum and how a mysterious visitor handed her a phone to get help!
On March 30, 2008 my then husband and I were hauling fencing from Utah to Colorado.
On highway 80 there was an accident, so we slowly came to a stop. I went to get out of the truck, as I am certified in CPR/First aid to give assistance if it was needed.
As my foot touched the ground outside, my husband screamed my name and pulled me back into the truck.
Just then we were hit by a semi doing 65 mph. I'll spare you the details, but my husband was unconscious and having a seizure laying on top of my back.
I tried opening my flip phone to call 911. As I opened it, it slipped out of my hand and fell out the broken window onto the ground below.
At this point we had a semi on each side, and I was trapped and couldn't get out to retrieve the phone. I did all I could think of: pray and HARD!
Next thing I knew, I saw a man with a ballcap on on the ground between our truck and the first semi. He grabbed my phone, looked at it, then said, "It still works." He stood and handed the phone to me. When I looked up to say thank you, he was gone! Simply vanished are the only words for it.
I still get chills when I think about it. For a person to crawl between these trucks was nearly impossible and EXTREMELY dangerous with the amount of damage and debris on the road.
I've included photos of this accident, and you can see the right side of the truck (brown Ford) is completely blocked. When state patrolmen questioned witnesses, no one came forward as the man that handed me that phone.
I believe in my heart of hearts that there was an angel on that highway with us that day! By all accounts we should have been dead. Yes, we had some injuries, broken bones and the like, but I'm still here to tell the story!
