Actually, the photo was taken as a screenshot from Corey's video. He shot the video so people would see that the unique cloud formation was not the product of a photo editing program but something real, truly visible overhead in the atmosphere. Mr. Hearon actually streamed it live through Facebook, sharing the video images with others in real time.
