Photographed in 1989 at the Covent Garden Piazza in London by Mr. Webb. Mrs. Webb is to the right with stroller, and the two children are theirs.
Of course, during the time the picture was taken, neither Mr. or Mrs. Webb saw anyone move into their way, ruining the moment they were capturing on film.

What makes this ghost picture even more compelling is that the legless woman is leaning forward in a way that seems unnatural. If her legs were behind the post, she would tip over (in our estimation). Besides, how could no one have noticed her, cutting her way into the path of the tram?
