This page contains some top ghost pictures for January, 2013, that we feel might shock you. After all, these ghost photos caught our attention, shocked us or amazed us in some way!

2: Top Ghost Pictures: 1910 Christmas Tree & Ghost Child
The U.S. Library of Congress is home to the George Grantham Bain collection of photos and pictures (from Bain News) used for news agencies. Bain News' photos and stories were used around the world by different news groups. This photo, circa 1910-1915, was taken from a 5x7 glass slide. We do not know the story behind the ghost photo, but we do know it shows a Christmas tree and ghost child sitting on the chair at left of the table (photo below, right). It was quite common, back then, for studios to product photos using lengthened exposure so ghost-like images could be added to scenes such as this image. Is it a real ghost or was the ghost picture manufactured? You decide...

3 & 4: Top Ghost Pictures: Bachelor's Grove Male Figure
Near Chicago, Illinois in Bremen is a notoriously haunted graveyard called Bachelor's Grove Cemetery. Of late, it has fallen into disrepair, being overgrown and closed to the public because of vandalism. This location has been a hotbed, however, for some top ghost pictures that have surfaced over the years, it would seem. (See the famous Bachelor's Grove Cemetery Ghost Picture.)

The ghost photograph, below, was taken by Melanie some time ago, and it seems to show either a man or a boy (definitely looks like a male ghost figure) slunched over and looking downward. We can only theorize whether or not the ghost is walking or staring at something on the ground. Below is the original cropped image with two adjusted images (lightened and hue adjusted) for comparison. Is it a ghost or a trick of the eye (pareidolia)? There seems to be too much detail for the male figure to be coincidence. Some people see shorts, socks and shoes on a young boy. What do you see?

5: Top Ghost Pictures: Apparition in Corridor
Imagine walking in a dark hallway and something or someone is behind you? The ghost picture, below, is a screenshot taken from a CCTV camera with night vision video that reveals a second figure, the ghost, moving back and to the right of the man who was ghost investigating a corridor. Sort of creepy, huh? It was filmed at the Morisset Psych Hospital in Australia.

6: Top Ghost Pictures: Ghost with Group
These ladies were surprised when a cell phone picture revealed an odd, freakish face between them. Is it a ghost or malfunction?

7: Top Ghost Pictures: Saint Bernard's Abbey Ghost Priest
Chris Williams of England shared this spectacular ghost picture that just may reveal a "ghost priest" inside of Mt. Saint Bernard Abbey. Look closely - this ghost is behind the post, and a head and shoulders is pronounced. Think this is a living person standing there? See another photo taken from the same video clip and the anomaly is in front of the post and only half-manifested!
