Don from Iowa sent us this interesting ghost picture, which seems to have a skeleton-looking face in it:
"This photo was taken at my sister-in-law's house in Des Moines, Iowa. We have had many strange things happen at this house including a heavy wooden dining table jumping and bouncing for about 3 seconds. In the photo, look between the bed and the dresser. Some have accused us of taking a double exposure. All I can say is this is a digital photo taken with a digital camera, I don't think you can double expose with a digital camera."
My sister-in-law and her husband bought a home here in Des Moines, Lowa, about 2 & 1/2 years ago. Almost as soon as they moved in, my sister-in-law started telling the family about weird things happening. Once she said she was at the computer in an upstairs room when she thought she heard someone coming up the stairs. Knowing that she was the only one home and since the stairs were immediately behind her, she turned to look but saw no one. A couple more times she heard the same noise and had herself convinced that her husband had come home and was trying to scare her. Determined to not be afraid, she continued surfing the net. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. She jumped and whirled around, ready to let her husband have it good for scaring her, but no one was there. She was still the only one in the home. That is just one of many, many, many happenings in this home. There have been "shadow figures" moving through doorways, a "man" that sometimes wont let my niece go upstairs although she seems to be the only one that can see him. This "man" bothered her a lot at first but has since let up a little. There are many "footsteps" at night when all are in bed. I have seen lights go on and off for no reason. Not just going out, but being switched on and off, at the switch on the wall! The television goes on and off by itself. The stereo too. A shoe rolled about 8 feet across the floor from a corner of the living room. The closest person to that shoe was at least 5 feet away when it started rolling. What ever this is, it sometimes "touches" people. It touched me on the back of my neck as I stood leaning in a doorway. We have taken many strange digital photos with streaks, orbs and even a face.
Now for the icing on the cake. We've become accustomed to things happening and get disappointed when they don't We got there often to gather and observe. We were there one night recently and nothing unusual had been happening all night. There were 4 or 5 people in the living room and I was in the dining room right next to the living room, talking to my now 5 year old niece. We were in plain sight of the living room and they could see us too although they were engaged in their own conversation. As I stood there talking to my niece, the heavy wooden dining table about 3 feet from me, began to jump and bounce in place! It continued for about 3 or 4 seconds while I stood there and watched. Strangely enough, I was not afraid, but I immediately thought of my niece and how scared she must be. I looked down at her and she was looking at the table too. She then looked up at me and pointing at the table she said "The table moved"! I said "Yes, it did". She then asked if she should tell her mom and I recommended that she did. No one else saw the table bounce but most heard it and my wife looked over and saw a bottle of Mountain Dew on the table and the liquid was still sloshing around but the table had stopped by then. Nothing else happened, that night.
