Betty Jean Matthews sent us this spirit picture taken while with families of a Manhattan firehouse. We're so sorry to hear of the loss of her heroic loved one in the 911 tragedy, but know he is with her in spirit:

"Attached please find a spirit picture which was taken after the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade 2002. I was invited to attend the parade by the firehouse families (as he and I did when he was alive) of Ladder 4, Eng 54, in Manhattan. I think the spirit is that of my loved one who I lost on 9-11-01. He was a fireman and was getting off duty at the time the twin towers got hit. I lost a huge part of my life on that day, not to mention the depressing times following. He said he would always be there for me. I think this picture proves that."
